- Description: Professor Bridge on the 2018 lecture: Atlantis and Lemuria as two minds, the bloodlines, and what the record actually says.

On May 14, 2018, a man sat at a computer for two hours and six minutes and tried to explain Atlantis without asking anyone to believe in it. No sunken pillars. No sonar maps. He opened with a rule, and that rule is why this issue exists.

> "If it holds true in the spiritual plane, mental plane and physical plane, then you can apply it universally."
>
> — Abode of SunMoon, 2018 (00:01:10)

Call it the three-planes test. A lost-continent story can work as history, as a map of the mind or as a description of energy. The strongest stories, by this test, hold on all three planes. A story that works on only one is a rumor. I will hold every claim in this issue to that test, including the lecture's own.

The 2018 lecture moves fast and cites freely. Where it quotes a book, I went to the book; where it states history, I checked the record. When the record runs out, I say so. The numbered notes give the source for every checkable claim.

## I. Two kingdoms

Every telling of Atlantis and Lemuria has two peoples set against each other.

Atlantis is fire. Its gods breathe flame and fly as winged serpents. They look down from the dragon in the northern sky. Atlanteans master the properties of light: the lecture's line is that "matter is like coagulated light", so whoever masters light masters matter. Their society runs through the father. They think with the left brain. Analysis rules, cold and strict.

Lemuria is water. Its fish gods and river gods look toward Sirius. Lemurians master oneness with nature, and their society runs through the mother. They think with the right brain, through feeling and nurture, with the shaman's knowledge of the living world.

> "When we talk about Atlantis and Lemuria, we're talking right brain and left brain. One can't exist without the other."
>
> — 2018 (00:23:08)

Atlantis and Lemuria are two minds. That's the lecture's thesis and the reason for this issue's title. Their war takes place inside every person; when either falls, balance has failed. The lecture borrows a line from Muata Ashby's *Egyptian Yoga*: godhood is reached through detached dispassion, the middle path pulled by neither side.\[10\]

**Where the names come from.** Atlantis has one primary source: Plato. In the *Timaeus* and the *Critias*, written around 360 BCE, Critias recounts what Egyptian priests told the Athenian lawgiver Solon: nine thousand years earlier, a war had been fought against an island power beyond the Pillars of Heracles. The island was later swallowed by the sea.\[1\] Every later Atlantis, from Francis Bacon to the cable channels, is built on those two dialogues.

Lemuria is younger and stranger. In 1864 the zoologist Philip Sclater wondered why lemur-like animals lived in Madagascar and India but not on the mainland between them. He proposed a sunken land bridge and named it Lemuria.\[2\] A biologist's guess about animal distribution.

In 1888 Helena Blavatsky took Sclater's name, credited him for it, and made Lemuria the third root-race continent of *The Secret Doctrine*.\[3\] The mystic's lost continent began as a footnote in zoology. That history matters, though it is no reason to throw the idea away. The three-planes test asks whether the pattern holds, regardless of where the name started.

## II. Three tellings

The 2018 lecture sets three versions beside each other and looks for what they share.

**Ramtha.** In the Ramtha teachings, the narrator is a Lemurian whose people were "very spiritual" and one with nature. The Atlanteans enslaved them. Atlantis worshipped technology and mastered the principles of light. That mastery was its undoing.

**Zecharia Sitchin.** Sitchin's Anunnaki come to Earth to mine gold and engineer a slave race to do the work. The lecture acknowledges that Sitchin "has been debunked" by other writers, then uses the story for its shape. That admission belongs here. Assyriologists reject Sitchin's readings of Sumerian texts, and his twelfth planet has never been found.

**Michael Tsarion.** In *Atlantis, Alien Visitation and Genetic Manipulation*, the Atlanteans arrive as fugitives from other star systems. They hide on Earth and engineer the population they find here. Their first creation matches their intellect but also carries an emotional bond to this planet, which the Atlanteans lack.

That first creation refuses to serve and walks out. These are the sons of the serpent. The Atlanteans build a second people, less gifted, and the sons of the serpent return to free them. Only the woman listens. She follows them out of Atlantis.

The lecture reads one plot across Ramtha, Sitchin and Tsarion: a power that masters light, an engineered people, a rescue by the serpent, a woman who walks out. When unrelated tellings keep the same skeleton, that skeleton deserves study.

## III. Decoder: a cartoon tells the oldest story

The lecture's sharpest move is its reading of *Voltron*. In "The Legend Begins," Zarkon, emperor of the Galra, marries Honerva, the finest alchemist on Altea. A rift opens. Out comes quintessence, a substance of enormous power.

Zarkon and Honerva feed on it, pass through the rift, and return with burning eyes and bodies alive past death. Their former Altean allies become their enemies.\[6\]

Set this beside the two kingdoms and the match is clear. Zarkon is Atlantis, a reptilian-looking warrior hungry for power. Honerva is Lemurian by birth. Their marriage joins the two minds. The rift represents what the lecture calls the darker side of awareness: the dark energy and dark matter from which the material world is made. The Altean war is the fall.

And Genesis gives the marriage an older text:

> "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."
>
> — Genesis 6:4, King James Version

Genesis names neither Atlantis nor Zarkon.\[7\] The connection is the lecture's reading, openly offered as such. I think it's a good one. Sons of heaven, daughters of earth, a mixed lineage of mighty men, a flood soon after: the same story, told by a scribe in Judah and a writing room in Burbank.

## IV. The sky map: Draco and Sirius

Look north on a clear night and you can trace Draco, the dragon, coiling between the two Bears. The brightest star near its head is Rastaban, Beta Draconis, from the Arabic for "head of the serpent". Its neighbor Thuban, Alpha Draconis, was the pole star while the pyramids of Giza were built, from the fourth to the second millennium BCE.\[4\]

> "The head of the Draco star system is called Rastaban, like Haile Selassie and the Rastas. Is that a coincidence? We don't believe in coincidences."
>
> — 2018 (00:34:13)

The lecture finds fire and water in the Great Pyramid's stone. A narrow shaft runs north from the King's Chamber; another runs south from the Queen's Chamber. In *The Orion Mystery* (1994), Robert Bauval and Adrian Gilbert aimed the first at Alpha Draconis and the second at Sirius, the star of the water gods, of Isis and of the Dogon.\[5\] King's Chamber to the fire gods, Queen's Chamber to the water gods. Father and mother cut into the same mountain of limestone.

The shafts bend. No one ever looked at a star through them, and the proposed targets do not establish the builders' intent.\[5\] Egyptologists such as Mark Lehner allow the shafts a symbolic, star-ward purpose while rejecting the larger claim that the Giza plateau maps Orion star for star.\[5\] The pattern is there to be read. It isn't settled fact. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

The word "draconian" brings us to another Draco, an Athenian lawgiver. His code, written around 621 BCE, was so harsh that petty theft could carry death.\[8\] His name, rather than the stars, gave us the word. The lecture's modern example was New York's stop-and-frisk. The shared name proves nothing about stars, but it does show how a culture remembers a ruler: by the severity of his law.

## V. The Tree of Life

![The Tree of Life. The gold zigzag is the lightning flash, the order in which light descends from Keter to Malkuth. Da'at, drawn dashed, is the hidden sphere. Diagram: Abode of SunMoon.](https://news.abodeofsunmoon.com/content/images/2026/10/tree-of-life-2.jpg)

The Tree of Life. The gold zigzag is the lightning flash, the order in which light descends from Keter to Malkuth. Da'at, drawn dashed, is the hidden sphere. Diagram: Abode of SunMoon.

The Kabbalah draws creation as a tree of ten spheres joined by a lightning flash that zigzags down from the unknowable source. The lecture places Atlantis and Lemuria on that tree. Light arrives first at the masculine sphere, Chokmah, wisdom. The Atlanteans master this light. It passes to the feminine sphere, Binah, understanding, which holds and nurtures it, carrying it down into form.

Neither sphere can create alone. Light without a womb never becomes a world. A womb without light holds nothing.

The 2018 lecture then draws a flat line for truth and a wave for reality, everything we see and do. A low-frequency wave swings far from the line. As its frequency rises, the swings tighten until the wave nearly lies on the line itself.

> "When you're on a high frequency, you actually become the truth."
>
> — 2018 (00:45:10)

This is the myth's passage from fall to return: consciousness refined until it stops swinging between Atlantis and Lemuria.

### The same tree in a card game

The lecture found Atlantis in a Netflix cartoon. The Tree of Life turns up somewhere stranger: a Japanese card game sold to children.

In the anime *Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's* (2008–2011), the final villain, Z-one, has made himself a god by bending time. He plays eleven cards called the Timelords. Their Japanese name, *Jikaishin*, means "time machine gods."

Ten of them are built on the ten sefirot, and each is named after the archangel tradition assigns to its sphere.\[18\] Change the ending of Metatron and you get Metaion. The angel's there. Raphael becomes Raphion, Gabriel becomes Gabrion.

![Z-one's Timelords arranged as the Tree of Life, with three pillars and Sephylon in the hidden sphere. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's © 1996 Kazuki Takahashi, © 2008 NAS, TV Tokyo. Frame via Yugipedia, used here for commentary.](https://news.abodeofsunmoon.com/content/images/2026/10/yugioh-timelord-tree-2.jpg)

Put the two trees side by side and the match is exact:

| Sefirah | Archangel | Timelord |
| ------- | ---------- | -------- |
| Keter | Metatron | Metaion |
| Chokmah | Raziel | Lazion |
| Binah | Zaphkiel | Zaphion |
| Chesed | Zadkiel | Sadion |
| Gevurah | Camael | Kamion |
| Tiferet | Michael | Michion |
| Netzach | Haniel | Hailon |
| Hod | Raphael | Raphion |
| Yesod | Gabriel | Gabrion |
| Malkuth | Sandalphon | Sandaion |
| Da'at | God | Sephylon |

The animators kept the architecture too. Their frame stands on three pillars, left, right and middle, as the Kabbalists drew it. In the duel against the hero, Z-one summons the Timelords and attacks in the order of their sefirot, the same path the lightning flash takes down the tree.\[18\]

And the eleventh card, the one Z-one calls the god of gods, sits at Da'at, the dashed circle in our diagram. It's the hidden sphere, the place where the ten become one. Knowledge as the crown above the crown. A card game put that idea in a child's hand.

## VI. The serpent

Beneath the traditions gathered in the 2018 lecture lies the same animal.

At Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the southern half of the east gallery carries forty-nine meters of carved relief: the Churning of the Ocean of Milk. Gods pull one end of the serpent Vasuki, demons pull the other. Wound around a mountain, the serpent churns the sea to bring up the nectar of immortality.\[9\] The lecture reads this as the making of the waters of creation. Two opposed forces pull one serpent and drive the waves.

The serpent recurs as the Naga of Southeast Asia and as Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent of Mexico. It appears, too, in Egypt's waters of Nun, the primordial ocean from which the world rose. A serpent is the only creature that moves the way waves move.

> "When you peel the layers off that onion and you get to the bottom, you're gonna have it right there: the serpent."
>
> — 2018 (00:52:50)

The lecture repeats Graham Hancock's claim in *Heaven's Mirror* (1998) that the temples of Angkor are laid out in the shape of Draco. That claim is disputed. In a 2000 broadcasting adjudication, Hancock's critics pointed out that Khmer astronomical inscriptions never mention Draco and that the Khmer saw their sky serpent in the Milky Way.\[9\] Hancock's claim carries the burden of proof.

## VII. The bloodlines

For more than half an hour, the 2018 lecture turns from myth to families. It asks where the idea of royal blood comes from and who benefits from it. I will put what the lecture teaches beside the documented record. Some claims hold. Others don't. The lecture's conclusion, quoted at the end of this section, is why the distinction matters.

### The Merovingians and the Grail

The lecture traces the European royal houses to the Merovingians, describes them as a union of the Khazars with "the Magdalenian bloodline, or the tribe of Judah", and names the British crown as their heir.

The Merovingians were Frankish kings who ruled much of Gaul from the fifth century to 751\. The last was shut away in a monastery when the Carolingians took the throne.

The story that the Merovingians carried the blood of Jesus and Mary Magdalene comes from 1982: *The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail*, by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln. That book rests on the "Dossiers Secrets," genealogies naming a secret society called the Priory of Sion.

Pierre Plantard and his associates forged those documents and slipped them into the Bibliothèque nationale de France in the mid-1960s. There they could be "discovered" and cited as library holdings.\[11\] Plantard's genealogy named him the hidden heir of the Merovingian kings. His accomplice Philippe de Chérisey later admitted to faking the parchments. In 1993, under questioning in a French judicial inquiry, Plantard admitted that he had invented the story.\[11\]

Plantard let the national archive's authority do the work. Fifty years later, his forged bloodline is still told as hidden history. The mechanism is worth more than the legend: this is how a royal bloodline is manufactured.

### Windsor

The lecture says the British royals were "originally the Guelphs from Germany" who changed their name when they took England.

Britain was ruled from 1714 by the House of Hanover, a branch of the old German house of Welf, which the Italians called Guelf. Victoria married Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Their son Edward VII took his father's house name.

On July 17, 1917, with Britain at war with Germany, George V changed the family name from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to Windsor, after the castle. A German dynasty became an English one by proclamation. Windsor was a wartime public-relations decision, and it worked.

### The Khazars

The lecture names the Khazars as a source of the bloodline. This Turkic people's khaganate ruled the steppe between the Caspian and the Black Sea. Its ruling class adopted Judaism around the eighth or ninth century. There is no documented line from the Khazars to the Merovingians or the Windsors.

Arthur Koestler popularized the theory that most European Jews descend from the Khazars in *The Thirteenth Tribe* (1976). The theory has since been tested directly. In 2013 a thirty-author genetic study of 1,774 samples from 106 populations found no significant Khazar or Caucasus contribution to Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, which traces mainly to the Middle East and Europe.\[12\]

The Khazar theory survives because it has a use: it lets a person deny that a people's history is their own. Recognize that move, whoever makes it.

### The black nobility

> "Now we see why they call them black nobility. They really were black."
>
> — 2018 (01:29:01)

"Black nobility" has a precise meaning. After the Kingdom of Italy took Rome in 1870, Roman aristocratic families who stayed loyal to the Pope were called the *nobiltà nera*, for the black of the clergy they served.

The Medici are a different case, and a more interesting one. They began as merchants, became bankers, and bought what birth had not given them. Giovanni di Bicci de' Medici founded the Medici Bank in 1397\. The family's money bought control of Florence, three popes (Leo X, Clement VII and Leo XI), and two queens of France. As the lecture puts it, they "created a non-royal dynasty."

Niccolò Machiavelli served the Florentine republic the Medici overthrew. In 1513 the returning Medici had him imprisoned and tortured. In exile that year, he wrote *The Prince* and dedicated it to a Medici.

One Medici may have been black. Alessandro de' Medici, Duke of Florence from 1532 until his murder in 1537, was called *il Moro*, the Moor, for his dark complexion. His mother is recorded as Simonetta da Collevecchio, a servant in the Medici household. Writers since the sixteenth century have said she was of African descent. Historians regard that as possible but unproven; no document settles her ancestry.\[13\] The first Duke of Florence may have been a man of African descent. The record was never kept carefully enough to say.

### John Dee

John Dee, astrologer to Elizabeth I, enters the lecture through the "Enochian" angelic language he recorded with the medium Edward Kelley in the 1580s. Dee stood close to the throne. The popular claim that he signed his letters to the queen "007" and inspired James Bond traces to a 1968 book by Richard Deacon. Specialists who have searched Dee's letters have not found that signature.\[14\]

Dee is interesting enough without it.

### Drugs and melanin

The lecture cites Suzar's *Blacked Out Through Whitewash* (1999) for the claim that street drugs are genetically engineered to attach to melanin.

Part of this is documented pharmacology. The 2024 review cited in note 15 describes drug–melanin binding and its effects. Many drugs bind to melanin, changing how long they remain in pigmented tissue and how strong their side effects are. Binding also helps explain why some substances show up more readily in dark hair.\[15\] These measured effects have real consequences for people with more melanin.

I could find no documentation for the stronger claim in Suzar's account: that drugs were deliberately designed to target melanin. It remains unverified. If someone holds the evidence, the notes are open.

### The war lands

The lecture reads the long wars of the eastern Mediterranean as the work of archons, forces that feed on fear and violence. In this reading, they gather in the old Phoenician lands where the Atlantean centers once stood.

The lecture also points to oak leaves on the uniforms of armies that fight each other. The United States Army marks its majors and lieutenant colonels with an oak leaf, and Germany added oak leaves to its highest military decoration. Those two armies met in both world wars. The oak was sacred to the sky-fathers, including Zeus at Dodona and Thor. What an army wears says something about what it serves. On the archons themselves, the record is silent. The 2018 lecture offers a reading of the map here, with no citation to establish it.

The lecture gives the British crown a place in Tsarion's myth as the last people the Atlanteans made, the ones "devoid of attachment":

> "If you ask me, these silicon individuals would be the British... the British family."
>
> — 2018 (00:56:05)

"If you ask me" marks this as opinion. The lecture uses Tsarion's myth to read an institution, and I print it on those terms.

### There is no such thing as a royal bloodline

The 2018 lecture builds toward this line:

> "There's no such thing as a royal bloodline, man. But if you believe it, then it will be. And enough people on this planet believe it for that to be valid."
>
> — 2018 (01:52:00)

Plantard's dossier borrowed the national library's authority. George V changed a name by proclamation in 1917, while the Medici bought their way into a dynasty. Each case exposes the mechanism the lecture describes. Royal status runs on belief and on records kept by those who benefit from them.

> "These people are just ancient psychologists, geneticists, alchemists."
>
> — 2018 (01:53:08)

By this reading, the old families held knowledge of how people think, including what they fear and what they will believe. The 2018 lecture describes that knowledge as once common. After the flood, whatever the flood was, those who kept it held it back and used it.

> "The only thing that these royal bloodlines have over the masses is this information."
>
> — 2018 (01:54:20)

The lecture's remedy is to share the information.

## Coda: Kush

The lecture closes in Kush, the kingdom on the Nile south of Egypt, which it calls Egypt's older sister.

Two claims have sources. Herodotus, writing in the fifth century BCE, describes Ethiopian prisoners bound in gold fetters in a land where copper was the rarer metal.\[16\] Scholars of Meroitic Kush describe literacy as relatively widespread, judging by the range of hands and the ordinary graffiti in the record.\[17\]

The 2018 lecture goes further, saying every servant could read and every library stood open. That version is unproven. Its picture of Kush is still worth looking at:

> "I would be a servant to you because I'm learning from you. I am an apprentice."
>
> — 2018 (02:02:02)

In the lecture's picture of Kush, common knowledge makes service an apprenticeship rather than poverty. Gold goes on prisoners' wrists because gold is not what anyone lacks. Scarcity begins in the mind before it reaches the treasury.

The lecture asks us to leave the Atlantean habit of hoarding light:

> "The age of knowing is here, not the age of belief."
>
> — 2018 (01:57:35)

The age of mystery is over.
